Booking & Payment
The Customer shall pay the price for the training/assessment/literature on acceptance of a Gascomp Ltd quotation, or at the time of booking/invoicing (where applicable), upon receipt of Gascomp Ltd invoice. No payment shall be deemed to have been received until Gascomp Ltd has received card/bank transfer or cleared funds in full. A deposit of £100 per candidate due at the time of booking, within 48 hours (or payment in full, dependent on scheduled dates) to secure candidate's dates. Where the deposit payment is not received in accordance with the deposit due date stated, Gascomp Ltd reserves the right to re-allocate a course place to another candidate or refuse admission if payment has not been received. All bookings must be paid for in full either no less than 10 working days prior to the course/assessment start date or if the start date is sooner, within 24 hours of booking to secure your dates. A VAT Invoice will be issued at the time of booking.
If the Customer fails to make payment in accordance with these Conditions, Gascomp Ltd is entitled to seek interest on any overdue balance outstanding pursuant to its rights under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998, or (at the Company’s absolute discretion) to charge interest on any overdue balance outstanding from the due date for payment until payment is made, whether before or after any judgment at the annual rate of 5% above the base lending rate from time to time of the Bank of England.
The Customer shall indemnify Gascomp Ltd, against all costs (including legal costs) and expenses incurred by Gascomp Ltd in recovering amounts due from the Customer, including any administration fee incurred if Gascomp Ltd refers a late/non payment dispute to its lawyers or collection agents.
As per BPEC Scheme Rules (issued at the time of booking) Paragraph 14 Fee Structure: Fees for the Assessments carried out at the centre (Gascomp Ltd) must be paid in full. Non-payment to the centre (Gascomp Ltd) may result in an individuals assessment results being held at the centre (Gascomp Ltd).
Candidate Cancellation of Booking (to be made in writing)
When a candidate is unable to attend a booked course and requests a cancellation, this will be subject to the discretion
of GASCOMP over whether it chooses to offer another date or refund. If a refund is to be issued it may be less an
administration fee of £50 Plus VAT. However, any additional fees required for damaged books already issued will also
need to be deducted from the final refund. Fees due for Gas Foundation Managed Learning Programme will be invoiced
and collected in accordance with our separate Gas Foundation Fees and Charges Policy.
Re-scheduling of Course by Candidate
When a candidate requests an alternative date, the following charges apply: Requests to re-schedule a booking received
within 20 working days in advance of the course start date, there will be no charge incurred. Requests to re-schedule a
booking received less than 10 working days in advance of the course start date, a charge of 50% of the value of the
original booking will apply. An invoice for the re-scheduling fee will be raised and any outstanding balance on the original
invoice must be paid in full.

Re-scheduling of Courses by Gascomp Ltd
In exceptional circumstances Gascomp Ltd reserves the right to postpone a course and transfer all bookings to an
alternative date. If this is not acceptable to the customer, the booking will be cancelled, and a full refund provided, on
the proviso any learning material issued is returned in a clean and unmarked condition. If this is not the case, Gascomp Ltd
will Invoice for replacement items.
Substitution of Candidate
Candidates (meeting Training/Assessment pre-requisite requirements) can be substituted at any time, prior to course
start date, without extra cost, unless costs have already been incurred (eg: issue of study materials/books that have
been marked by the original candidate etc.) in which event additional fees for further study packs/books will be payable.
